Children of spring

Aries Child

This child from the moment he is born is full of energy and he wants to grow right from the start, the phrase ‘ run before you can walk’ applies.  He is impatient and anxious, burning with fever and can fly into unforgettable rages.  The Aries child eager to demonstrate his energy very rarely grows up without cuts and bruises. He is more attracted to manual and sporting activities than studying or intellectual pursuits, but he can show brilliant intuition and have the gift of anticipating what will happen!  However, try not to let him race ahead too quickly as any difficulty could leave him very discouraged and you will find it hard to get him back on track. Very early on, try to teach him to take his time.

Taurus Child

As long as this child is surrounded with everything he needs and given plenty of affection he is gentle and calm.  But at the slightest change in his routine he can appear suddenly very uneasy.  He has a great need for things to be kept safe and secure. This child can be very slow to develop and prone to laziness if not encouraged to be active. He can take more time than most to eat his food as he likes to savour it. He does generally enjoy his food, and that can lead to weight problems. This child is not a fighter but generally has a healthy disposition, but just watch his diet. This child can develop bad habits, which can follow him into adulthood. He is very sentimental and loving and has a great sense of reality spurred on by his need for comfort and security.

Gemini Child

He is kind, happy, very bright and inquisitive from a very early age. This child has a duality and early on you will see the chameleon side of his character. He has the ability to switch his ideas and attitude to suit any given situation with relative ease. Very early, he shows an ability to express himself and converse with other people quite easily and this attracts lots of friends. He is curious and likes to learn, but watch that Gemini duality because in his home environment he may have a natural sharpness and because of his intelligence, an ability to be caustic with his wit. This child needs advice more than orders and he is at times nervous and twitchy.

Children of autumn

Libra Child

This child longs for harmony and balance and likes a peaceful life style. He may sleep a lot, and his sleep can be plagued with nightmares which leave him in a sort of trance like state as if he senses that there is a thin line between dreams and reality.  Physically he can be frail and sensitive and needs a well-balanced life.  Any bad atmosphere or disagreement can leave him feeling very ill at ease. He is accommodating without being servile and always willing to please.  He hates unfairness and he likes to take his time over things, this child can never be rushed.  He does tend to live by his own set of rules; he likes order, his own order of course!  He is a bright child always willing to learn but he must be helped to become aware of the importance of his place in life as he can be a little unconfident in his own ability.

Scorpio Child

This child may not be in a position to voice or display it yet, but he has a talent for trying out everything he sees, touches or comes across. He will also see how far he can push it! His mind is in a permanent state of alertness and he intuitively knows which buttons to push to get what he wants or needs.  He can be a very proud child and can be very hurt by treachery or lies, and may take him a long time to forgive but he will never forget. Early on, his feelings of disgust regarding indiscretions will boil over if not kept in check. He is a very passionate child and this shows in everything he participates in. Help him to channel his natural passion and energy so that he can throw himself into the things he enjoys most. Help him to trust and realise that he cannot be like everyone else and do everything at once. Help him to realise he is unique.

Sagittarian Child

This is a child that loves life and tries to live it to the full! He has good humour and is generally happy, he tends to not let things get to him easily. He has one of the hardier dispositions of the zodiac, that’s not to say that he is insensitive, he just believes that most things sort themselves out eventually if you apply yourself and remain positive, but at times he can be a little naïve. He tends to be a physical child, doesn’t mind playing on his own and is equally comfortable to participate in team games and playtimes. He will need, as he grows, to become aware of his limitations, as this child doesn’t understand that they exist at times and may overstep the mark. But he is generally trustworthy and honest with a great generosity.

Capricorn Child

She is a quiet rather serious child who appears to be concentrating on herself and not the outside world.  When she does often withdraw it's so she can conserve her energy and gather her strength more easily. It's like a survival instinct. She doesn’t have a lot of energy but does have great stamina and sense of purpose. Her good behaviour and seriousness can be a little disturbing as she shows signs of early maturity; this is the child you say has an older head on young shoulders. This characteristic is most obvious in the girls of this sign who display the most amazing perceptiveness and realism, and the Capricorn child can appear more sensible than the parents.  She is not very outgoing and very sensitive to how people see her. She can be deeply wounded by insults and can respond in a very rebellious way.

Aquarius Child

She is a rather unpredictable child.  Although she appears to be quiet and likeable and charming she can easily become upset and grumpy and defiant.  These changes in her mood are due to the fact that she is naturally susceptible to all the outside influences which come her way and which she finds difficult to handle, so she holds out against them in a rebellious way to protect herself.  She has an instinct for getting to the root of the problem and turning things upside down and inside out until she gets her answer. She is able to see the other side of everything and she is a natural humanitarian that loves nature and animals. She is a freedom fighter and may grow to become someone who fights for the rights of others. But be aware, she doesn’t like rules and regulations too much, especially when she is at school.

Pisces Child

This child is an emotional sponge and is so receptive to all going on around him in the visible and invisible world, he will pick up and absorb most emotions, he seems to know instinctively if he is liked or not. Needless to say he is a hypersensitive child and is always willing to help others and often will put others first.  He doesn’t have massive amounts of energy and may have an anguished nature. Security and love are extremely important to all children as we all know, but this child even more so.  He may have many short term friendships and flit like a butterfly from activity to activity until he settles in his later years.  A sense of discipline and a specific motivation is essential to this child or he could get lost in his own world. He can be a very talented child capable of many great things if he is guided in the right direction and given sufficient discipline.

Children of summer

Cancer Child

From an early age this child likes to protect and care for all things important to her from toys to loved ones, this is more so in girls but boys of this sign can be very nurturing too.  This child broods and can be the one child that is very likely to suck their thumb, or drag around a blanket, as a need for security. This child needs constant reassurance that she is loved and needed as she can be very sensitive and moody, with moods changing in the blink of an eye. One minute she is very happy, the next in floods of tears from something she remembered from weeks ago. They have very furtive imaginations and can be very creative children. They make friends very easily and tend to keep the same friends for years.  Try to help them to overcome their anxieties at an early age and encourage them to have confidence.

Leo Child

This child can fall into two camps, the pussy cat or the lion, either way they will be determined in pursuit of their goals and will love to learn. They can be very demanding, which is true of all children at times but the Leo Lion will persist until he gets what he needs. They are generally loving children with a very lively and outgoing disposition, the pussy cat being a little harder to arouse, but once aroused it's difficult to hold this child back.  They are usually the ones organising the other kids in the playground and have boundless energy. They are loyal and honest and have many friends. They may need boundaries set in place at an early age and given fairly strict discipline at times.

Virgo Child

This child can be very shy and slow to arouse.  They are methodical in their approach to play and have an organised manner even at an early age.  They tend to worry and can have sleepness nights and have many dreams, not all of them pleasant. These children tend to worry about the slightest thing.  They can have anxieties about their health, and tend to play the illness card to get out of going to school when really they have worked themselves up in to a stupor and there really is very little wrong. A very pleasant and intelligent child always willing to please and happy to learn. They are generally very bright from an early age. Try to help them to overcome their shyness and prepare a calm space for them to help with their anxieties.
